Love at first sight
Places have a unique power to inspire, and so it was for Katiuscia and Romina. The moment they saw this corner of Trastevere, it was love at first sight. Like in every great love story, passion blossomed immediately, fueled by the authentic beauty of Rome, reflected in the glimpses, squares, and views of the eternal city. Sottosopra was born nearly ten years ago with the idea of a building that had a "below" and an "above"—a concept that soon revealed a deeper meaning: a place that united two generations, blending their parents' traditional vision with an innovative approach.Recreating the enchanting atmosphere that surrounded Katiuscia and Romina during their childhood was the ultimate goal, making guests feel at home.
